Hello, my name is Will. I am an active-duty US Army Warrant Officer with over 30 years of service. I am on my final approach toward retirement. It's a day I thought would never come, but I've put the date on the calendar in pen and I'm committing to it! While it's relieving to finally have a retirement date in mind, I am feeling all the usual anxiety associated with the unknowns that lie ahead - work, money, insurance, travel, hobbies.
This site will document my retirement journey (for now) as it is the phase of my life that I am currently experiencing. I will also upload my back catalog of blog posts from other sites along with the occasional rambling on whatever topics might be floating through my head.
